Our Story

Darkling Beloved is a small UK-based alternative jewellery outlet that was established in 2015 and is run by one woman- that’s me, Paige. I’m in the region of 3000 (yes, three THOUSAND) years old, I live with my husband and our fur goblin, Vivi. 

I was always captivated by costumes from films and media whilst growing up, but it was the trinkets that always hooked me in. If I recall correctly, the first piece that really struck me was the medallion in, ‘The Little Vampire’. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I realised I had a particular fondness for smaller treasures and details, so I decided to create articles of my own. Work was picking up speed very quickly and I’m so grateful to say that I was shipping various pieces crafted with such love and passion to countries in all corners of the world. 

The style of items I’ve created have changed over the years -such is the case with most artisans- but have always remained under the ‘alternative’ umbrella. To begin with, I catered to those who shared a love for all things Halloween. As I progressed and gained more confidence in my abilities, I delved into bringing more ideas to life. Through this, the ‘Vampyre’ Collection was born, as was the ‘Enchanted’ Collection and the ‘Ritual’ Collection.

Each of these collections were birthed by different sources of inspiration, from Vampires and Witches to Elves and Faeries. I draw a lot of inspiration from characters, as well as films, shows, Dungeons & Dragons and video games. I’m a great admirer of all things fantasy and adore sharing that love with others through the means of jewellery.

As of today, 8th March 2025, I feel incredibly lucky for the support I’ve received over the years and I couldn’t be more grateful. It’s with great thanks to you all that I can continue to create. Without your support, I wouldn’t still be doing what I love.
